I had owned Indiana for 3 years and although he had been a dream come true
something was missing. When i had brought
him the dealer had told me some
information but the more and more i thought about it the more it just didnt
seem to
add up.
I had met Kaz through a Equine Forum on the internet and she had become
someone whos views i respected
and a friend.
One day me and Kaz had been chatting and i happened to mention that the
dealer had mentioned that
Indi had been connected to a horse called Indian
Queen but that was all i knew. Kaz mentioned that this horse had been
a
sucessful Race horse and that she would look in to any descendents for me.
Over the next few weeks Kaz had been
coming back to me daily with more and
more information. It turns out that my Indi was infact the only son of
Indian
Queen and his father had been an American racehorse called Nightshift
and we could trace his family back to the early
1800's!!!. Kaz had even
tracked down his old trainer, Kim Bailey to confirm Indi's identity, He was
infact a racehorse
called "Prince of India" in his days at the racetrack.
I cannot thank Kaz enough for finding my boys real identity,
she has finally
found the missing peices of the puzzle. Indi has found his real name and
well i have found a friend
for life.
Indie was given to a person who promised never to sell him on, hence why he had no ID...If it was not for Joanne he could
have been nameless forever

Hi Karen,
I would be pleased to help you with information regarding horses which were
previously trained here.
Also I would be prepared to advertise horses for
rehoming on your site, I assume there would be no charge. One proviso
though, I am always very careful where ex racehorses go so I would want full
details of new home etc.
Await
to hear from you in due course

Ddear Karen
We will certainly help you with any information on horses trained here. We
are generally
very lucky in re-homing our racehorses and many owners have
them after they retire from racing but should we need to advertise
we will
certainly be in contact.
Best of luck with your new venture.

Nicky Richards:
Thank you for your e mail. We would have no problems forwarding any information
we have on any horse we might have trained in the past.
We would not advertise horses as we tend to be able to re-home them ourselves
but wish you every success in your venture.
